The personal information is used to display our directory listing to on the public website. All information regarding your travel and education is secured behind the VT CAS login. This is only used for internal purposes or your own personal needs.
We do not share any personal information with any third parties nor do we use any personal information for any purposes beyond those stated here.
From your profile screen you have the ability to update some of the information, all other information needs to be requested via the Information Technology Services department.

The Travel & Education Center does not use any cookies to store information. However, the Central Authentication Serive (CAS) used for authenticating users does use temporary cookies. These cookies are stored only when the browser is active and destroyed at the end of the browser's session.
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Log file access is restricted to system administrators while stored on the server. Log files are rotated regularly and archived in a secure location.
User and password information is encrypted before it is transmitted across the network.
